Sevgi Aydın grew up in a village near Konya, where her parents grew wheat and sugar beets. After she graduated from university as a computer engineer, she returned to her village and noticed a serious problem. Farmers were using too much water because they didn't know when their fields really needed it. In 2020, Sevgi and two friends founded a start-up called AquaTarla.
